Duel

Very bad composition. Unfortunately it's pretty hard to plan anything while going by bus at 7:00am. Finished during my classes. I hate to leave pictures unfinished, so I did it even when composition is hopeless. Neither cropping would help this.

Yes, I had a reason to make deformations.
[Yes, I can't draw human, but here's just my intention.]

And it's supposed to be creepy, weird, or whatever [isn't it obvious?].

No sketch or anything. Quick drawing.

Mad Scientist

Feb-May, 2008 It was our subject for sculpture lessons- characteristic character.

During one of our last sculpture lessons in whole school year, I've made sketches, then I start to sculpture it in wax. It took me about two weeks to make it. Then, with help of my sculpture teacher, who's my tutor I've took it to foundry, where they've made it in bronze. It wasn't end of my work with, because I had to clean it, polish up and my tutor helped me with cutting of unneeded metal parts, which were left after casting. Then my professor told me how to patinate it. But with this helped me my Dear Bobson (My teacher had lessons during that time xD). Also he's taken those photos.
I haven't been doing it for a long time because my classmates who had sculpture annex had to be first.

It's my first time when I've made something alike and I'm quite satisfacted. For sure I'm going to make more in this technique in the furure.
There was problem with lips, because after casting there was large bubble of metal in them, and we had to re-sculpture them from nothing.

Lost Wax Method
Bronze, patina, about 24cm of high.

Eh, I wanted to draw something romantic, I even had nice idea, but I don't like the final effect.
I have to practise more with faces/anatomy...
It's not like I don't like it at all, but there's something that bothers me.

ARGH, while doing this I've noticed that many of my markers, those which I use the most, are gone and thay won't work anymore... That's mostly why the background is that crappy.
